Friesen's Smokehaus is a German-inspired deli, restaurant and takeout joint serving Warkworth, Ontario and the surrounding area. With strong German roots and family recipes passed down from generations, we are able to provide authentic smoked meats and side dishes for any event.
Our team is comprised of Pitmaster, Jake Friesen and his sons, Ross and Zak. Jake has been smoking meats, competing and providing catering services for more than 15 years as a hobby.
Ross (16) has a strong interest in culinary arts. He enjoys perfecting sauces and seasonings and is well known for his use of various spices. Ross placed 1st in the 2015 Friendly Fires BBQ competition for People's Choice chicken wings.
Zak (11) is the workhorse of the team. He enjoys serving people and refuses to eat until everyone is served and satisfied. He has always been a huge help in the kitchen and can be relied on for any task.
Our venture is simply a way for us to become engaged in the community while teaching the kids responsibility and life skills.
Our storefront is located at 27 Main Street, Warkworth Ontario beside the Village Pantry. We specialize in festivals, backyard events and everything in between.
